Who we are Sunce is Bosnian for sun, as our goal is to achieve that, when you come here with a thundercloud around you, you leave to see the sun shining again! Sunce is headed by Dr. Kolina Dukic, who is a psychiatrist, working with spirituality as a basis, more than the medical. She holds the title of Professional Master of Hypnotherapy and has PhD�s in several other fields, like orthopaedics, rheumatology and as an internist and dietician. In her work she combines all these skills. She received her spiritual training from an English medium as well as her Sufi-Muslim foster mother, who passed on the traditions and ways of working to her. Sufis are Muslims who basically look at the spiritual side of Islam, but actually on all religions. They have a great and very old tradition of paranormal healers, resulting in extensive training and supervision when in the learning stage and even after that. In order to practice these teachings, you have to do a heavy exam and swear an oath like doctors do. Dr Dukic worked in the middle of the war in Belfast, in Sarajevo, Bosnia, where she had to flee after torture because of her and her family�s repeated protests against the upcoming war, and since 1997 in Holland, after first learning how to deal properly with her own losses and traumas. She still has a firm belief in life and the lessons you can learn in it, and is actually herself the example of someone who, after a big bundle of trouble saw the sun shining again. God and yourself give you lessons to learn, and the best thing you can do is learn them� Twin sister Elizabeth Kwak works at Sunce as an assistant, taking care of the phone calls, public relations, typing out reports and all other tasks that come with the job. Her roots are in Journalism, and health care. While assisting at Sunce, her sister helps her developing her recently discovered paranormal gifts through automatic script and drawing mainly. Occasionally she sells her trance drawings on this site. Other areas like clairvoyance and medium skills are still only for training. Elizabeth believes that along with your paranormal gifts comes the responsibility to use them and train them wisely, for your own growth as well as for others. Developing these gifts has helped her to deal with her own traumas like incest and abuse, and use it to her benefit. She firmly believes that most important of all is to rediscover the happy bouncy child living inside you and cherish that for as long a you live this life! What we do and how. We can be short about what Sunce does. It is simply applying all available knowledge and skills for trauma healing. Together with Sunce you design your own tailor-made program. The fields in which Dr Kolina Dukic works are numerous, so your own program will be set up after a thorough introduction talk. She will quite often ask you if you want to take a few pictures with you to use for psychometric readings and ask you about physical complaints. After that your program can range from talking to aura (chakra)- and hands on healing to regression and hypnosis. Often etheric oils are used in aromatherapy to support the process, and sometimes she will ask you to use Santa Fe blossom remedies, if for instance you have a lot of built up anger that does not want to get out, or comes out in bursts. The drops you take will help regulate these things in a mild and harmless way. If needed she will also give some advice about food and diets. Dr Dukic will definitely not prescribe any psychiatric medication like sleeping tablets or anti depressants. In fact she does not prescribe any regular of homeopathic medication at all. If she suspects a physical or mental illness needing to be treated besides the Sunce program she will advise you to see your own family doctor or specialist. We can also be of assistance if you have a difficult pregnancy, expected or previous difficult labour, or fear of getting difficult labour, but also coping with child loss in miscarriage. We also offer counselling if you have a terminal illness or have a loved one suffering from that. At Sunce we work on these things in a personal, straight forward, and down to earth kind of way.
